CUPERTINO, CA (PR Web) – February 13, 2012 – Ten SAP veteran consultants co-authored SAP Lessons Learned: Human Capital Management to bring professional expert tips and tricks to help navigate SAP implementations. These authors have experience with SAP initiatives which are usually challenging, large, and complex and involve multiple locations, stakeholder groups and business interests. Many enterprises have deployed SAP and expect that their consultants include lessons learned from previous initiatives which is why this book is so significant. It offers customers and potential customers the ability to read about some of the lessons learned prior to engaging with a consulting firm.
Veteran consultant LaShonda Rahming, editor for this book from Happy About Inc and owner of the All About Collaboration platform, worked with nine other Human Capital Management consultants to co-author and create a timely book which offers insights into helping make each SAP implementation a success story. SAP Lessons Learned: Human Capital Management showcases the collected wisdom of leading consultants who share experiences that run the gamut from tackling post go-live resistance to increasing end-user productivity. Dr. Lou Thompson, Professor of Enterprise Management Systems at the University of Texas at Dallas and active member of the SAP University Alliance Program recognizes the unique benefit of this book when he says, "There is no other book like this on the market written by consultants who all have great experiences. This is a must read for existing clients, anyone considering implementing SAP HR, and anyone teaching SAP HR."
SAP Lessons Learned: Human Capital Management is written in a style that is easy to read, absorb and translate to immediate action. It provides critical material on how to overcome common and not-so-common challenges within the SAP human capital management space. Discover how to gather detailed requirements, select an implementation partner for your organization, increase your understanding of change and project management and learn techniques to increase end user productivity. Hermes Mendez, Director of ICTS at the Orange County Public Schools endorses the book’s value when he calls it "Brilliant, perceptive, and insightful―a must read for anyone implementing or supporting an SAP implementation."
Whether you are a SAP consultant or a manager driving an internal ERP implementation, SAP Lessons Learned: Human Capital Management has lessons that will help you minimize the gotchas and drive your SAP implementation to success. Karen Heatwole, Vice President of the Human Capital Management Center of Excellence at SAP America also endorsed and recognized the book’s significance and says “It is an important collection of work for those looking to implement or expand their HCM landscape”. This is the first book to be launched from the SAP Lessons Learned series that is similar in format and written by SAP Consulting professionals that will include Finance, Reports, and Security.
